The Refugee Centre at Village Vingt Cinq was completed at 95% in December 2009.
Coconut Oil as Bio-fuel
Actually one tractor is running on coconut oil at Agalega Islands. In November 2009, modification to an engine was done on one tractor and has proved to be successful.
Construction of Duplex
In 2009, two additional duplex were constructed on North Island. Same is being used by staff of the Corporation.
Foundation works at La Fourche – National Coast Guard Quarters
The foundation works for the National Coast Guard quarters was completed in November 2009 and basic works started.
